Long ago in a galaxy far far away, there was a LUG.....
Back many years ago a good friend of mine, Scott Harney and I were members of the New Orleans Linux Users Group (NOLUG). It was the late 90s, back in the wild wild west of open source, the internet, etc. One thing back then was there was a lot of confusion and a lack of understanding about IP addressing.
Scott and I put together a class on it, and the links below is to both the sgml (docbook) version of the class and then the pdf version of the class. Feel free to download, use, republish, whatever you want to do as long as you give Scott and myself credit. 20+ years later Scott says this doc is still one of the most downloaded files from his site. Makes me proud since it seems we did a good job and made this class and document into a pretty simple How-To.
